Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 17 August 2026
This policy explains when a paid VastuEasy plan can be refunded, how to cancel, and how long a refund takes. It applies to plans bought on vastueasy.com/plans and forms part of our Terms of Use. VastuEasy ("we", "us") is an independently operated service based in India.
1. What you are buying
A paid plan raises the number of analyses you can run per day, for a fixed period stated at checkout. It is not a subscription: nothing auto-renews, and no further payment is taken unless you deliberately buy another period.
Because there is no recurring billing, there is nothing to cancel to stop future charges. A plan simply stops at the end of its period and your account returns to the free daily limit.
2. Cancelling a plan
You can stop using a paid plan at any time — just stop using it. Since plans do not renew, no action is needed to prevent a future charge.
If you want the remainder of a current period cancelled and refunded, that is handled as a refund request under section 3.
3. When we will refund you
We will refund the full amount in these cases:
- You were charged but did not get access. If a payment succeeded and your daily limit was not raised, tell us and we will either apply the plan or refund it in full.
- You were charged more than once for the same plan. Duplicate payments are refunded in full.
- The service was substantially unavailable for a significant part of your paid period.
- You bought by mistake and have not used the plan. If you ask within 7 days of payment and have not run any analysis since the plan started, we will refund it in full.
We will consider a partial refund, at our discretion, where you have used only a small part of a plan and ask within 7 days.
4. When we will not refund you
- You have used a substantial part of the plan period or its daily allowance and simply changed your mind.
- You disagree with what the analysis says. The tool applies classical Vastu rules to the plan and orientation you provide; a result you did not hope for is not a fault. See section 4 of the Terms of Use.
- You uploaded an inaccurate plan, or marked the boundary or north direction incorrectly, and the output reflects that input.
- The request arrives after the plan period has ended.
- Your account was blocked for misuse of the service.
The tool is free to try, with a daily limit and no payment required. We would much rather you satisfied yourself that it does what you need before buying a plan.
5. How to request a refund
Use the contact page, choose Other as the enquiry type, and include:
- the email address on your VastuEasy account;
- the payment reference shown on screen after payment
(it begins
pay_) or in your Razorpay receipt email; - what went wrong.
We aim to acknowledge within 2 working days and to decide within 5 working days.
6. How refunds are paid
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Razorpay. We cannot redirect a refund to a different card, UPI ID or bank account.
Once we issue it, Razorpay and your bank control the timing. Typically the money appears within 5–10 working days, though banks occasionally take longer. We will give you the refund reference so you can follow it up with your bank.
Refunds are made in Indian Rupees for the amount charged. We do not reimburse currency-conversion charges or fees your own bank may apply.
7. Failed and pending payments
If a payment fails, no money is captured and nothing needs refunding. If your bank shows an amount held against a failed payment, it is normally released automatically within a few working days.
If you were charged but saw an error instead of a confirmation, do not pay again — contact us with the payment reference and we will check whether the payment reached us.
8. Consulting services
Consulting engagements are not sold through this page and are not covered by this policy. Their terms, including any cancellation arrangement, are agreed separately before the engagement begins.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The version in force when you paid is the one that applies to that payment. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.
10. Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of India.
